Notice to all visitors and members of the Train-Sim.Com message forums: If you plan on using a signature banner in your posts, we would like to remind you that there is a maximum size for banners. That maximum is 450 pixels wide by 120 pixels high, and not to exceed 25k. Your compliance is appreciated. FORUM RULES Problems? There are two common reasons for problems with logging in and posting messages. The first is that you are running a firewall that prevents your messages from being sent to the server. The other is that you have cookies disabled; the DCForum software requires cookies to work properly.
Geez... i leave for just a day, and the forum is a mess... *shakes his head* ahh well...for those curious..alot of posts went poof...Need to limit down the off-topic posts and polls... personally.. I wish the polls would just go away.Turkey was good...couldn't walk for a couple of hours heheh..cya
I wish we could get the "Printer-Friendly" option back. Copy and paste to "notepad" works, but is time consuming to download information. Byron De Winton
I presume you are referring to saving forum pages for later reference. The best way to do this is to go to File - Save As and save as an *.mht file which will save the whole web file as one rather than saving as a web page which saves in bits and it should save the graphics as well.Bill
No! No! Click on the bottom of of the message block where it says "Printer-Friendly-Page". Thats what it used to be, but now when you click on it only a title block comes up with out the message that was in the block in the forum. With out this feature if you push print it will print all of the replys not just the one you want. B/D
But...if you save it as an mht file, typically under 50kbs unless it is a flame war you can have the whole thread and cut it at your leisure. I have a load of them saved for future reference - and it keeps the graphics.Bill
