Aug-02-01, 03:37 PM (EST) "Program Crashing assistance" I have a K6-2 350 with 512 megs of ram, ATI Rage 128 3d with 36 megs. I have downloaded the new drivers for the ATI for Direct x 8. I have reduced my resolution to the lowest possible screen resolution. I can run it anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes. It locks up and usually crashes the whole computer system with and exception error. Any helpful hints would be appreciated. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Program Crashing assistance" I had the same problem with midtown madness and FS2000 on a K6-2 450, and thought I was the only one, cuz microstuft never mentioned it. downloaded the Set K6-2 utility from www.amd.com and also the via 4 in 1 drivers, fixed the whole thing. MSTS runs fine on the same computer, which my youngest son is still using. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

It works fine on my laptop, but I cant use the editor because of the resolution restriction. Hell, can't even find the second MSunpack file. Have left messages with AMD and ATI, hopefully I will hear from them. Love to contact Microsoft, but not sure where to leave them a message and if they charge.
