I downloaded the new MBTA F40's and Cab Control Cars today, and the are really nice looking. The only problem Im having, is the horns do not work from either the locomotives or the Cab Car end. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a way to fix it? For you Non Railroad folks, "BO" stands for Bad Order, which is a common railroad term used when something does not work and the unit has to be sidelined until corrected. This could also apply to track, switches, or any other RR mechanics that need fixing. Anyway, I apreciate any help or advise on the non working horns! Thanks.Daniel:-)
Daniel,Have you downloaded F40 Set 1 and the F40 Set1 Patch? You will need both of those files for this to work.Hope that helps!------ BUZZ ------ -- Power For You --
THANKS BUZZI followed you advice, and added the F40 Patch, and everything is working good now. Somehow I missed that note about the patch when I looked at the Readme txt. I copied the file I was supposed to download, went into Train-Sim.com, and pasted the file in the search box, and Bingo, I wax able to find it. Thanks again!Daniel
Geez and by B.O I thought you were referring to Buzz' habit of not bathing or shaving or changing his clothes when he was in the final stages of releasing a product! LOL! (Thanks Kim)Chuck Schneider Chief Cook and Bottle Washer North American Locomotive Works
