I had just copied and pasted files from a back up of MSTS to the file and decided to defrag the computer. It went fine until it got to 98%, then an odd thing happened. It wasn't reading the files --usually they flash green then red before going blue, it was simply filling in with the light blue, the green stayed the color they were. I ran defrag two more times and both of those times it worked fine, no wierdness.Any idea why this happened?? The following is a screenshot of the program when it happened. Another thing, PSP had been set to 72 dpi, suddenly I found it reset itself to 300 dpi... I reset it to 72 dpi, then did a screenshot test and the dpi went back to 300 dpi.

Interesting...I was there watching; and I've never seen it write like that...Takes bout half an hour... She stopped the process, started it over again, and that time everything was fine..
Something interesting also happened when I used Ad-aware 5 to scan my disk drive...it seemed that when Ad-aware was scanning the MSTS folder the entire system with the progress bar halted for 5 mins without anything happening, but then eventually things return to normal... No spyware found though, so no worries.
Folks, its the tiles folders !I have MSTS in its own logical drive, and that drive takes 25 times longer to scandisk then other much larger drives with flightsim, etc. Ditto for defrag. Glad I have TS isolated in its own partition! Otherwise no patience to scandisk anything else, let alone defrag...
