Mar-28-01, 01:27 PM (EST) "Great Site! A new era in model railroading!" Congratulations and many thanks to the people who've made trainsim.com possible. I look forward to watching the resources and community grow to be as successful as flightsim.com.I'm a private pilot and avid flight simmer, who's also a railroad consultant and lifelong fan and advocate of the rail industry. I've long wanted to get back into the HO modelling scene, but I just don't have the extra space. Now Microsoft is solving all that with the model railroad of the future. Can't wait to meet and chat with the members here and exchange digital power, rolling stock and scenery. It's the start of a whole new era in model railroading. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

There certainly seems to be plenty of pent up interest, both from modellers and from people coming from other sims. It's a wonder no big company did this before!

I currently operate TM4, which is very good, but I believe MSTS is going to trump it with a lot more features and potential for development.Best,Chris Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
