I've tried two times today to download the MSTS v1.2 update, both times failed with AOL disconnecting me without apparent reason. It never disconnects me for inactivity when I'm downloading. It is too late to start again because the download will go past my bedtime (yes I unfortunately still have a bedtime). Will it do any good to start the download in IE rather than AOL?------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to be involved with trains, the Union Pacific!John Ekhoff 14 yr. old Train Sim Reskinner from Abilene, Texas.A member of the Yonder Locomotive Works.

Yes give it a go. Before connecting though make sure you up the idle time out to a higher figure if your on dial up. I downloaded V1.2 last night and it took like 5 hours, due to the darn site getting a lot of traffic. Keep trying, the addon is worth the wait.

I just tried it for the third time, it still doesn't work, even if I downloaded off of Internet Explorer...do you do the "Open File from its Current Location" option? or the "Save" option for download?------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to be involved with trains, the Union Pacific!John Ekhoff 14 yr. old Train Sim Reskinner from Abilene, Texas.A member of the Yonder Locomotive Works.
