Jul-15-01, 07:23 AM (EST) "Question for RailDriver" On the Gp-38 and Dash 9 there's an ampmeter. Now am i right in thinking that there's a link between that and freight durability levels? If so,what is the maximum ampage the freight can stand on these locos?

A higher amperage sort of translates into more pulling forces on the couplers simply because the motor is working/pulling harder. The freight durability levels in MSTS cannot be judged by the ammeter. The run-in and run-out of the train's slack could cause freight problems in MSTS.Rail Driver
