I just got back from Colorado, after the fly fisging and rafting we were coming into Denver to fly out, after pleading with my dad we stoped by Union Station. I saw it and it looked rather okfrom theout side, Looked rather nice. I walked in and I notced that almost everything in this was orginal. They even had the signs of the former railroads that served this station. Although when I went off down to go on the platfoms I notced they removed 2 or 3 platforms. One was for Amtrak, one for the Ski Train, and one at the end for the Light rail. Anyway This outraged me. Why do they need to get rid of them in the first place!!! It doesn't take alot of money away from the station I would think removing them cost more to do that. PLus isn't there talk about something like a metrolink in Denver??? I posted a picure to show you want happened. Does this tick anyone off???For some reason I can't post the pics so I will do so later.
