How Did You Like the Movie "Signs"?

To make it train-related, the movie location is not too far from Strasbourg, PA. lol Anyways, if you've seen the movie "Signs", did you enjoy it? I know I did!------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!

Signs is a great movie! I saw it this weekend! The cinematography is outstanding! I don't remember a movie in recent years where I laughed, almost cried and was on the edge of my seat in a couple hours! A really REALLY great movie! I recommend seeing it!Now, its set in BUCKS County, PA (north of Philadelphia - the storyline is 45 miles north of philadelphia which would put it near Schwenksville or Perkiomenville I think - I'm not from those parts). The PARR Museum (PA Railroad that is) is located in Strasburg, which is west of Philadelphia by about 75 miles - on a map its near Lancaster, PA (where Witness with Harrison Ford was filmed). And the answer to the othe rquestion is "No", not trains in the movie, but see it anyway for those old enough! GH from PA

It says on the preview "don't see it alone". As you can see they want to shovel as much money in as they can. Although, the movie is just a mockup of what's happening out west in the U.S.A. which I believe is just all a hoax. I want to see Austin Powers: GoldMember.Adam

Call me dumb, but I dont belive they are hoaxes. Consider how big the universe is. If there are no little green men, then maybe there is an actual Star Wars story going on out there (meaning perhaps we arent the only Humans in the universe).thats MY two cents

*Agrees with Gunman*I mean it's ridiculous to think that we are alone in the expanses of the universe... you never know, maybe there're some Vulcans that are watching us right now..."Live long and prosper..."Signs is about a retired pastor (Mel Gibson), his live-in brother (Jacquin Phoenix, well known as "Emperor Commodus" in Gladiator), and a son and daughter of the character Mel Gibson plays.The movie plays along with the belief that crop circles are a way of communication for aliens...This movie is directed by M. Night Shymalan (forgive me for the spelling of his last name), who directed "Unbreakable" and "The Sixth Sense". Signs was an excellent movie, on how it was able to keep you at the edge of your seat!------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!

"Signs" was scary as hell and I would recommend it as the second best movie released this year. "Attack of the Clones" was number one but I'm also a huge Star Wars fan.

Most of us on this forum like Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Starcraft,(i like all of those) and lots of things starting with star. I belive someone referred to to the forum as "the place where nerds and geeks from all walks of life congregate"
