I'm looking for a brand new route to download... I've gotten a little bored of SeaView 2 (no offense Tree Frog), and the Full Bucket Line (no offense FullBucket). I'd like to venture on some new rails. Is Ohio Rail any good? How big is it on the computer?I don't care about download times... I have a technique of going over to my other computer and play Age of Empires 2. ------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!Routes That You Would Recommend – image 1

Is Ohio Rail any good? It's a Rich Garber route! It's not good, it's great! Seriously, the package is fantastic. The route is wonderful, the tutorials are great, it's got an activity pack that includes the activities, extra locomotives, rolling stock, there's a manual, music to listen to while reading the manual, etc. Installation is easy. Go get it!If you like desert routes, you should check out the San Diego and Arizona route.

The drawback is that there are 11 files for the download. Depending on your connect speed it could take more than the 2 hours it took me to get them. Nine files for the route, 1 for activites and 1 for the music and manual. Other than that it is a GREAT Rich Garber presentation.Richard

Richard, yes, of course it would take a long time to download with a modem, but Transcon said he didn't care about download times.

RE: Routes That You Would Recommend

I just downloaded the Ohio Rail, it took me 3 hours or so. (I had a short delay because my mom had to make a phone call). However, I only downloaded the 9 main files of Ohio Rail...Do I have to download the other two?I defnitely don't want to download the 11 more MB of the Music download...------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!Routes That You Would Recommend – image 5

One route, one route that combines, mountain railroading, desert railroading, scenic railroading, and an oddity all into one. The Cumbres and Toltec, possibly one of the best routes in MSTS or in the real world for that matter.and no my version in not out yet
