Went Railfanning today on a portion of the NS B-Line

I went Railfanning today on a portion of the B-Line from Front Royal,Va-Linden, Va. I was chaseing a train that my dad was on!. The train number was 11R. Anyway we drove past the happy creek road crossing which is near Linden and we pulled over got out and wathced him by. My dad seemed soo happy to see me and my bro. That was the first time I have seen my dad on the train. Well we drove on to a crossing near Linden and sat to catch him when he came by. But he never came by reason being is because he was waiting for a 227 stack train and a 214 COFC/TOFC train and they also had to let 211 which is a UPS intermodal by him. Lots of action for the little bit of time. Anyone else have family who works for the RR or has any good railfan stories?
