ah yes, but you see, I've balanced it by making the CN a longer train! (ahh.. grr.. I can't win!) cdntrains"must be trains in the blood" http://www.frograil.com/gifs/gifs.htm
I love the BNSF...but my favorite railroad was the Santa Fe..i grew up around it...it saddened my heart when the merger took place..well better than the UP buyin it.
I live in Perth WA - australia - and i gotta say that BNSF is the BEST US railroad - followed very closly by CSX - the best in the World is National Rail Corp (who own 121 GE Cv40dash9i ) cheers Mikeremeber - UP Sucks!sorry
Yeah - those NR's in real life though according to GE.com - the model number is Cv40-9i's!! :S What line is that on? Full Bucket? Is there a romour - they (NR's) will become 91 class in the Pacific National Railway?Cheers Mike
Yep thats the Full Bucket Line...great for representing Australia Yeah ive heard a rumour along those lines too although i have no idea if its true. But seeing as how Pacific National will be using the freightcorp colours it would also be likely they would give them a class number such as that.I personally like National Rails livery better than the freightcorp scheme. However at least with freightcorp habit of painting giant loco numbers on the sides theres no chance u can miss which loco it is Julian
Nice - Full Bucket line - thanks - im gonna download it I dont mind that PN use the Freight corp colours - as long as the dont touch NR 30 + 52 - for all the non aussies - they have been hand painted in an aboriginal scheme - VERY NICE - dont expect it for MSTS - nooooooooo way! - lolYeah - i hate it when im driving back from school - 2 NRs there - AN there - WHAT NUMBERS! hehe - yeah - with the FC colour scheme that wont happen Cheers Mike 16yr old route developer Perth WA
Hi,NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO don't touch ANY of the NRs, FC blue on NRs YUCK!!But, they will look much like a 90 class. If someone has photos of "Snake" and "Dot" (they are the terms that Model Railway people use) I'll do the re-skin. Ben, 14 year old Re-skinner Sydney NSW
Yes, I hate it when I'm watching trains instead of sport, and a pair (or 3 or 4 or 1)NRs roll past, and I have to bolt to the fence just to get the number. As to the 91 class thing, I'll see what I can find out for you.
Well,As I can obtain,The NRs (might become PNs j/k) will be repainted in FreightCorp blue as the come in for overhaul. They will have the Pacific National logo applied A.S.A.P. They will not have big FreightCorp style numbers on the side. This is from a friend who works for PN. (Not PN)
Um, Hate to say this, but National Rail Corporation (now Pacific National) only had 120 NRs. Original numbers were NR1-NR120. After the fatel in Robertson (NSW Southern Highlands) they got renumbered NR1-NR2, NR4-121. NR 3 was the leading unit on the steel train, and was rebuilt after the crash and re-numbered NR121. This unit now never used as a leading unit, and spends most of its time in SA.I can get out the issues of Railway Digest and tell you more if you want. P.S. I'm only 14, and SOO if it isn't right sorry.
Either the Societe National Chemins de Fer or Great North Eastern Railway. aw, anything with fast trains, but, to answer the question, anything but UP. Amtrak is my fave, but then im a passenger person...
Just noticed that too!! CP IS STILL a contender!! (aside from CN as well.. hehe..) cdntrains"must be trains in the blood" http://www.frograil.com/gifs/gifs.htm
As much as I can't pick between CN and CP...............I picked CPA choice that was not given was VIA Rail, I am more into running passenger activities than freight, so I would also have to say VIA Rail is my favorite " Modern " day Railroad Tim Kent "Power for You" 96th_Malice
