Gone a week and the boards change to a new look! I went to North Carolina, Topsail Island. The ocean was great. Didn't see too much train stuff though =/ In west Virginia though on US 35 and I 77 went by a CSX yard in Charleston. Along US 35 the road parellels CSX tracks for awhile. On the way coming down we were pacing a empty CSX coal train. It had 2 ACW4400 pulling it. When we were coming back I 77 was construction and my dad had a bright idea of taking a mountain road to get around it man what a mistake it took forever on curving and hilly mountain road. The road was nice but damn curvy. Anyway we passed through this town called sparta in NC and I was driving at the time and crossed some railroad tracks. There looked to be some GP7 or 9's sitting on the track. down a ways in a greyish or black scheme. They looked kinda beat up but I didn't see the side in time to see the road name. Well I got some reading and catching up to do.
