Since the new forum software was installed and the polling function added, there have been so many STUPID polls, it is ridiculous. I think that Nels and Macster should remove the poll function.

I agree calr. This is a severely abused feature. It should be guidlines for posting a poll. "Would you trust Sen. John McCain driving a train" It dont get too much more ridiculous. First bcdef, and now this. When will the metiocrity end?

I half agree with you on this one, granted there are some really Lame polls, like the ones that make no sense at all (you know what ones they are) but I dont think it should be taken away, It is usefull tool. Someone should make a FAQ on proper polls usage (do: what kind of loco would you like to see made, Don't: what would you rather see, seneator blah ran over or driving)

No I dont think they should. There are many new features and people are just experimenting with them. I fell that trolls could mis-use them though, but I'm sure admin will sort them out.Phil

Now polls are new, but I'm sure after some time the use of them will be reduced to a normal amount...Ironically this question has also been posted as a poll...Greetings,

Maybe a forum just for polls? That way we wouldn't have to search through all the threads in a given forum each day to see what is new !
