DCForum Discussion Forum - HOW DO I INCREASE OUTSIDE HORN VOLUME?

Could someone please tell me how to make the outside the cab (exterior) horn sound as loud as the sound when I am in the Cab?
I have tried sound recorder increasing the volume but no ,mater...I can hardly hear the horn in the outside the cab view.

Hi,Have you looked in the .sms files?
That with eng in its name is for the outside.
That with cab in its name is for the inside (cab).Try to find the rules with horn in it (Search) and see if there is a Volume parameter. Some .sms files do have a Volume parameter. If so, try to set it higher or remove the whole Volume line.Make first a backup of the .sms file.
And .sms files are Unicode, so open them with Wordpad or a Unicode sensitive Editor.Dick van den Hoven
