I got mines May 28th, 2001. Doesnt seem like I have had it over a year but I have put in a many miles on. I got mines at Wal-Mart and it was the first one too, fresh out of the box, it was a birthday present.

About a year now. Got it from a nephew who could never get it to work. Being the geek in the family I got it to work, but by then he wasn't interested in it. His lose has been my gain.ATSFDUDE

Saw it advertised in a box store ad.
Purchased at Sams Club for $42.95
Installed 6-11-01. Installed with no problems.
Ran the train rides, lurked on the forum for a while, and started several routes before scrapping them and settling on the Lake State.
Also, have a test route for the purpose of bug testing bridges and other objects.SRV Ron

I got mine on or about June 15 of last year,, Circut City for if i recall 59.95 , have it installed on 3 machines here at home !

HeyI got mine the first week of June 2001 at Comp Usa. Paid 49.95 for it. The first two weeks I was sorry. Had to do a lot of fixing and decided I wasn't going to let this thing win. Have been adicted to it ever since and I am damn glad I got it. It has been running without a problem since August 2001.Chuck Hebert

Have it a year and a week now if I recall right. Bought the us-import version (around 80$ ) right after it arrived in the store , because I saw no way to wait for the german release. Even if i haven't got much posts, I'm visiting train-sim.com since that week. MSTS just rulz ! C.S.

I've had MSTS since it's release. In fact I had pre ordered it about a month or two before it came out. I purchase a lot on line... as I recall I got it from "Buy.com" (I think!)

The first day it was out in June 01' at Best Buy here in Denver, $50...but its the add-ons that make the game/sim.

Late June 2K1.
Just got a copy for friend as a B-day gift a month ago, who while being a RR buff like me wasn't sure he'd really be into it, being more of a flight sim guy.
Heck one week in and he's cranking out routes and such,and I just figured out reskining after a year.( I suppose his being out of a gig frees up all sorts of time though)
