Please enlighten us. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s curious. Also, I'm still awaiting your Great American Steam Drivers Story. C’mon, you ask for things all the time. You have sooooo much experience operating steam locomotives, it would be nice to learn something from the great steam driver. Joe Hildenbrand

You said it: Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco.B is for butterflies
C is for child
D is for dandelions all growing wild
E is for elephant, they never forget
but F is forgotten, and that's why we fret

RE: What does bcdef stand for?

Can't remember, this is becoming a habit isn't it?Lets look at this again, you claim that you rain UP steam yet you didn't know that the 844 was an FEF-3. Then you said got a cabride in an AC6000 with your dad when you were young.Does something not add up here or did nothing happen in 50 years?

RE: What does bcdef stand for?

I had a suspicion of what bcdef stood for. Considering the way this kid writes, my guess was when he registered for this board and needed to decide on a user name, he needed to pick something anonymous but very easy to remember. So he decided to use the first few letter of the alphabet, and actually screwed up when typing it in. Hence, the reason his user name starts at b. LOL!!I had two intentions when starting this thread. One was obvious, I actually wanted to hear what the great steam DRIVER had to say, Second, I was hoping others would join in with their own explanation of the so called acronym. So lets continue the creativity!!The only one I came up with is:
Brain Child Develops Endless Fibs!

RE: What does bcdef stand for?

Speaking of good ol' bcdef, what happened to his "farewell" posts that he put in every forum on the message board? I'm sure that there well still a lot of people who wanted to bid him a fond farewell (or something like that) before he chugged off into the sunset. I assume that his posts were yanked to decrease the clutter.
