Mar-29-02, 11:44 AM (EST) "OEBB 4010" Hello All,Does anyone know where to find a file called "setup_4010.zip"? This piece of rolling stock is needed for the Arlbergbahn 2.0 freight activities.
I attempted to download this file twice from the recommended site (http://www.trainsimaustria.at.tt) but whenever you attempt to unzip the file you get a lovely "bad crc" error message.
I have searched in vain for this file everywhere without success. Without this, the Arlbergbahn activities won't work. Does anyone have a good copy of this file or know where I can get it?Thanks in advance!Alan Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-29-02, 12:30 PM (EST) 1. "RE: OEBB 4010" Hi,I think it is more a problem with your unzip program.
To test this, I just downloaded the file and unzipped it flawlessy and the executable that is zipped in this file, runs fine.I use Download Accelerator Plus for downloading, my system is WinME and the unzipper is WinZip 8.0Dick van den Hoven

Apr-01-02, 08:05 PM (EST) 2. "RE: OEBB 4010" Dick,Thanks for the info! I am using Windows 98 with Winzip 8.0, so I am not sure what is happening. I also am using Download Accelerator Plus. I even went as far as to try Windows NT using Winzip 8.0 with the same results. Testing of the .zip file did result in an error indicating a checksum problem with the file. Did you download the file from the www.trainsimaustria.at.tt site? Any other suggestions? Thanks!Alan Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Apr-02-02, 03:40 AM (EST) 3. "RE: OEBB 4010" Hi,Another suggestion is that I email you the 4010. It is about 2.7Mb in size.
Don't be surprised, the original 4010 at the website contains tons of default sound and ace files. I have used aliased files, so the size is reduced.
May be my unzipper is compatible with yours.
Let me know if you are interested. This can be done by email. My email address is in my profile.Dick van den Hoven
