Thank you, Lawrence!Almost nothing annoys me more than trying to decipher a poorly constructed post written by an English-speaker. I am prepared to make allowances for people who are writing in their second language. But, for those who speak (and write) English as their first language, there are no excuses for sloppy writing.I have been told that this attack on the English language, so common on the internet, is now creeping into our schools. Teachers must wonder what they must do to combat this latest threat.By the way, it is my impression that the British take greater pride in the language than Canadians and Americans. Is this a challenge?Lawrence, are you a teacher?

I teach, but I am not a teacher--that is, I do not work in any formal school system. I have taught, except for formal school setting, in one form or another for over 20 years now. I have also worked in industries whose "product" is written work/reports. This has made it quite clear to me that employeeing good writing skills, regardless of the circumstances, is very essential.Now in support of Georgi, I do not believe that English is his first language. However, if he is attempting to be successful in any venture where English will be required, he must make use of proper English.I agree, it is a shame to see such poor excuses of writing in the Internet world. As you state, those whose first language is NOT the language of the forum certainly do have reasons. Those whose first language IS the language of the forum have no excuse. IMHO. Lawrence

When I hired people (actually, I am retired and no longer do this) I carefully read their CVs. Those who could not write were not interviewed. It was as simple as that. Sometimes I would require additional evidence of literacy (beyond the CV).I wonder how many people are aware of how many employment opportunities are lost because they couldn't (or wouldn't) take the time to communicate effectively.In my opinion, good writing skills indicate a general pride of workmanship as well as a willingness to be considerate of others. After all, if a potential employee can't be bothered to take pride in his work (in applying for a job), can I trust him with clients or with others in the firm?

Hey there, NoMoreBrains comin at ya ...Well, I DO own Trainz so I guess I can be here. And, the first evidence that I in fact have NoMoreBrains was when I spent 50 bucks Canadian on Trainz. Installed it, ran it once and now use the CD (in it's jewel case, of course) to hold down my drawings for TrainSim Modeler (second best thing I bought after MSTS). I'm not bashing Trainz, I can see how some would like it. But it don't hold a candle to MSTS in my opinion.Ray

Same here... I bought trainz for 65 Canadian ran it a few times and disliked it. Now it just sits in a cd holder with many playstation games that don't get any use cuz of MSTS!
Not bashing trainz eighter i like Trainz before SP3... it was more model railroading fast acceleration and deceleration. but with sp3 it seems a little more realistic but trainz was Model Railroading on your PC( well at least a while ago...)just my 2 cents( well 65 bucks) bout trainz.

There is a fix for the SP3 DCC controls if thats what you want. I personally love driving my Train using the DCC, but with the SP3 ver. Mainly because I am testing the routes that I make. and I make a lot of them quickley.Oh btw I am not sure where to get the instructions for the DCC fix for you, however you could do a search for "DCC sp3 fix" over at Aurans site, or check out a Trainz Fan site by Tafweb. He makes great content and programs for Trainz. Up to you thoughRegardsAXE
