V1.2 Released

TsTools v1.2 Released

We are pleased to announce that we have today launched TsTools version 1.2 which includes the following new functionality:

Free Placement Bitmap Feature in Default Projection

You can now add any background image in the default (MSTS) projection without having to concern yourself about what references to enter. Once the image is imported, you can resize and move it with a simple selection of specialised tools.

This functionality has been added for those who simply want a flat, square map to work with, without concerning themselves about precise latitude and longitude or National Grid References. This feature is not available in the Free Edition.

Bitmap references saved with map

The background image data is now saved with the TsTools map, so you do not have to re-register your backgrounds each time you load the route. Note that the bitmap itself is not saved, but a reference to its path and filename. If the bitmap is not found when the route is loaded, it will be dropped from the route.

Ability to delete background images added

Zoom level, window size, Projection etc. all saved with map

The map is now saved with complete information about the zoom level, window and view properties, so that it will be restored when you reload the route.

remove scrollbars if map smaller than Window

display zoom level (meters per pixel) in status bar

Plus a number of bug fixes.

You can download 1.2 now from our site:

Thanks to all for the help and support
