Trainz Paint Shed

Trainz Paint Shed Now Available

As a part of the expanding Trainz project, Auran has released a custom paint tool that allows users to quickly and easily re-paint locos and rolling stock.

Trainz Paint Shed allows users to create an entirely personalized paint scheme including text and logos for any of the included rolling stock and locos as well as additional content that has been created with a Paint Shed template.

Auran CEO, Greg Lane, said Paint Shed will allow people of any skill level to create great looking, custom railroad stock and railroad liveries without any re-skinning experience.

“Model railroading has always been about customizing an environment to make it look just the way you want it. With Paint Shed, we’re extending the user’s ability to build the railroad they always dreamed of,” he said.

“We’re encouraging third party content creators to also use the Paint Shed template so that eventually people can have an entire yard full of their own stock,” Greg said.

Trainz Paint Shed fits perfectly with the overall focus of the Trainz project and Auran’s plans to create a fully customizable railroad experience.

A boxed version of Trainz Paint Shed is available for purchase at the Auran web site www.auran.com now for approximately US$19.50 or can be downloaded using a certified code for just US$14.50.
