The Spanish Train Simulator Designers Team, the SPANISH TEAM, has born. A really good amazing new for all the world train simmers. Means that we'll have from now real quality Spanish trains to download. SPANISH TEAM, is a group of about 12 member of our "MSTS Fan Site Forum en Espanol" members devoted to design, paint, repaint, and document, the creation of real quality trains for MSTS. One of the main point in the SPANISH TEAM philosophy is that of the collaborative work.

In a few days we shall offer a complete information about the members of this just born Spanish Train Simulator Designers, group and their great ideas and projects.

This two new version of the RENFE 276 locomotive is the result of the collaboration between two members of the SPANISH TEAM: Josep Armengol (3D model) and Francisco Gago (texture), and it's the first release of the this SPANISH TEAM.

"For this new version we have used 1024x1024 textures, which has allowed us to increase the number of details and the quality of the texture. We haven't found any problems with this new texture size, but we would like to know if anyone encounters them so we can fixed them". They say.

"The initial idea came from Francisco,- Josep say- who asked me permission to repaint the 276 v1.5. Due to the quality of his work, I immediately realized that the project was more than a mere repaint, and that the completion of the project would not be possible without an intense collaboration from both of us. The need for adjustments to the 3D model to allow for a better placement of the texture and the additional details included in the model, resulted in a new version of the 276 (v2.0)".

"We believe-Francisco and Josep say- that this collaboration between the creator of the 3D model and the repainter has resulted in a better model than that possible if the two of us had worked individually. We have both enjoyed this experience and hope to continue working together in other projects".
