PRESS RELEASE

14th November, 2001 - http://www.btinternet.com/~pterodactyl

PTERODACTYL AUDIO would like to announce their first commercial product for Microsoft Train Simulator: Enhanced Track Audio Version 1. Digitally recorded and produced in the UK, this is intended to be an accurate simulation of the sounds heard when travelling along the 60 foot jointed rails which once made up the country's rail network. These rails still survive today on many of the more rural routes.

Included in this package:

  • More than 60 new track sounds, digitally recorded and edited exclusively for this product.
  • Advanced scripting unlocks the full potential of Train Simulator's Sound
  • Management Subsystem (SMS) - giving you track sounds that change realistically with your train's speed.
  • Flange squeal can be heard when travelling at low speed - just like the real thing!
  • Automated install/uninstall program.
  • Free updates through to V1.99.
  • Free "Developer" pack will be available for download soon - this will allow you to add extra sounds to routes you create (for personal use only)

This product costs œ5 and will be available by Internet download only. For more information, to listen to a sample of the product, and to make a purchase, please visit our web site at:
