Just Trains is pleased to announce that Ken Austin of EuropeanBahn has made available a major free upgrade for registered TGV route customers from the support section at the Just Trains web site at www.justtrains.net Users will need to have registered the TGV route on the web site and also have the original TGV CD to install this free upgrade.
Items covered in the TGV upgrade.
General Texturing Issues
Ground and track compatibility, realignment of these area, have been covered, where and when an in-compatibility has been identified.
Vertical Alignment of Objects
Where required the vertical alignment and/or positioning of objects have been instituted.
New European style overhead masts
All masts on the complete route have been redesigned by EuropeanBahn, developers of the TGV route, to the European style.
Other objects to enhance the TGV route.
Many track side objects have been added, track signs for speed limits and other driver information sign, a number of advertising Billboards. Many of these have night texturing.
Channel Tunnel Terminals at both end of the Tunnel have been created with near to actual length platforms, and are broadly based on the real thing. The space between the platforms has been model of the additional width of the shuttle trains that normally use these stations. However as the Shuttle train is not included, they may seem spaced out compared to the other stations now included.
Ashford Tourenhen sur la hen, Amerteries, Hazebrouck, all have new stations on the high-speed line and Tournenhen has also a new local station. Again great attention to detail; has been made and these entire unit having night texturing.
Speed Limits
The complete TGV line has had it speed limit raised to reflect the 300 kph running speed on the high-speed route of Europe.
