Columbus Locomotive Works Releases Alco PB

The Alco PB Add-on Locomotive Set is now available for download at the Columbus Locomotive Works web site.

This add-on pack features:

1. Includes two non-player-driveable (they cannot be the first locomotive in a consist) Alco PB locomotives in Santa Fe and Southern Pacific liveries.
2. Authentic Alco 244 engine sounds
3. Animated roof fan
4. Realistic physics and train handling
5. Employs improved texture rendering and compression methods and space-saving file aliasing for sound
6. Self-installing archive for easy installation; no need to copy sound or cabview folders.
7. Includes consist files so you can start using the locomotive(s) of your choice immediately.
8. Best of all, it's completely free!

Requirements:

1. Functional installation of Microsoft Train Simulator with Marias Pass installed (necessary for some sounds)
2. Functional installation of the Alco PA Locomotive Set from Columbus Locomotive Works
3. Approximately 2.5MB of free hard drive space

I hope everybody enjoys these. The texturing on the PB locomotives is identical to the texturing on the PA locomotives, so repainting them should be easy. To download a copy, visit the CLW web site and check the Available Products area.
