ChrisTrains Updates

The ChrisTrains NS Koploper v2.0 is now available from www.trains-station.com. This is the first SuperScale version of the Koploper. Changes from the last v1.x are:

• re-built all geometry to newly-acquired plans
• re-textures all geometry
• added transparent windows
• added passenger view

Another big change is the types of loco available. There's now the following 4 variants:

• nose closed, with pantograph
• nose open, with pantograph
• nose closed, no pantograph
• nose open, no pantograph

This is because the basic 3-car or 4-car Koploper has an engine at each end, but only one of them has the pantograph. So the basic set has two engines, both with the noses closed, one with and one without the pantograph. But when you connect two trainsets together, you need the nose to be open. As the trainsets can run either way, you then need the nose-open model to be available again both with and without a pantograph. In the v2.0 Koploper, this is now possible.

Outstanding items:

• the cabview is still the 10-minute job I did a few months ago. A proper cabview will be along in a later release.

Note: In this version, the different colour schemes from v1.x are not yet available.
