From all indications, Microsoft Train Simulator has been a hit with users in the US. And our partners in Europe and Japan confirm that MSTS is welling briskly outside of the states as well.

This early success points to a burgeoning new market and we're happy to have launched our first two add-ons for MSTS.

TS RoundHouse - a super collection of the best add-ons currently available. We've worked with numerous authors to create this package of new engines, routes, tutorials and more. Some of these are special edition versions that are not available elsewhere. Preorders were very high among the major retail chains. Suggested price is $29.95.

Step By Step Guide To Route Building - this is a 190 page book that gives users an easy to follow tutorial for building new "worlds" to extend their Train Simulator experience. It's available now by download in 4-color PDF format for $15. A printed version is planned for early next year.

Two additional add-ons will soon be ready:

LTV-Erie Mining Co. Trainset - This authentic package has 13 locomotives and 45+ iron ore cars used at the LTV Steel operation in northern Minnesota's Iron Range. Includes the route from Hoyt Lakes to Taconite Harbor and rail operations around the mines. Available in October. Suggested price is $29.95.

TS Design Studio - This package is for railroad fans who are ready to create their own trains and 3D scenery. This new software is based on FS Design Studio - the industry standard for making virtually all new flight simulation aircraft. Available late Fall. Price $39 by download and $59.95 for retail box (available early 2002).
