III. CUSTOMIZING MSTS:
A. Game Settings
B. Add-ons
C. Creating Locos and other 3D objects

III.A. - Game Settings

(3.A.1) What game settings are available?
When the game is released, we'll add much more information about the game settings.

III.B. - Add-ons

(3.B.1) How do I import other routes/locomotives/rollingstock into the game?
When the game is released and add-ons are available, this question will be answered.
Can you answer this question? please email the answer to dappawit@yahoo.com.
(3.B.2) Are there commercial add-ons available?
Not at this time, but that doesn't mean there won't be any in the future.
(3.B.3) Are there free-third party add-ons available?
There will be soon after the MSTS' release. The sim includes several tools to create your own routes and activities which can then be shared with others, and its open architecture encourages people with the know-how to create and add their own locomotives, structures, and other objects. All these objects can then be shared with others and imported into MSTS.

III.C. - Creating Locos and other 3D objects

(3.C.1) What program(s) are required to create your own train?
A 3D modeling program is required to make the model, and these can be expensive. A graphics editor is required to create or modify the paint job on a locomotive. MSTS does not include a program to create your own locomotive.
