MSTS Allegheny Rails Route, v2.0. This is an upgrade for the Allegheny Rails Route. It includes a major scenery overhaul, three new branches, new track sounds, and various other new additions and fixes. The numerous updates will cause a slight drop in FPS, especially on older systems. You need to have version 1 installed before applying this upgrade (see ALLEGHNY.ZIP). This route is set in Pennsylvania around the cities of Pittsburgh, Butler, and Kittanning. It offers heavy freight running, passenger action, and lots of switching. The route is mostly freelanced and has been designed especially for the B&O and B&LE railroads, but can also stand in well as a PRR route. Detailed route documentation is included. Activities are provided as seperate downloads. Allegheny Rails is a freeware route, built and packaged by Michael Stephan.
