You're assigned the SEPTA 5212 today and begin in Claymont, where you'll stop at most of the stations on the short remaining distance into Philadelphia. Amtrak trains will have priority over you, so be prepared to stop at a red light or two. It's a snowy day, which will make the train harder to stop and start, and you have a strict schedule to stay on. Use that sander! Activity runs about 30 to 40 minutes. By Joe Lawernce.

It is designed for the fall of 1985 and is the third of what is now four activities to replicate real ATSF coal movements using six engines and 112 cars over Raton Pass as presented in the Pentrex film "Raton Pass, King Coal, The Chief and the 'BALJ.'" Activity by Bob Edwards. Information provided on how to swap out rolling stock, zip file names for all downloads, and instructions for running the activity.
