Jul-27-01, 05:01 AM (EDT) "Engine installation Tutorial" Hey Guys,For those of you that are having trouble getting the repaints
of the 3D Trains F7A to work for ya ....I have uploaded a
tutorial on adding repainted engines to MSTS...the file name
is Engtut.zip and should be available in a day or two.
I have checked this out on one of my computers that I had a
bear MSTS installation on so none of the new repaint files
were on it and it worked flawlessly.
The example in it is the SFF7A.zip repaint so if ya want to follow along exactly you'll need both the 3D Trains F7A Demo and my SFF7A.zip repaint file, which should be back on train-sim.com
in about the same time frame.
To make this all work out I would start out by deleting the demo and nay of my repaints directories and then start from scratch.
This way no residue from botched installs remains.
I'm not sure how MSTS takes to deleted directories but I think
it should be ok.Hope this fixes all the headaches with repaint installation that
I have seen complained about on train-sim.com.Thanks for your patience.Controll Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
