Dec-23-01, 05:06 PM (EST) "BN America and BNSF containers available soon" I think I'll wait until Svante Wendel's update (version 2) of the smooth side well cars, before uploading these. Here is a preview, anyway.

Dec-24-01, 03:07 PM (EST) 3. "RE: BN America and BNSF containers available soon" Those containers look good....Version 2 of the smoothside well cars use fewer container textures since both the sides and the top/bottom of the containers are on the same texture. I've done that in order to improve frame rates. They look like this:
The 3D-model of the car itself has also been improved. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-24-01, 04:55 PM (EST) 4. "RE: BN America and BNSF containers available soon" Keep 'em coming guys!!!! LOVE them!!! I did notice putting 60 of these together takes my framerates to 1 or 2. I had to reduce the train length....BUT!!! I only have 64MB of RAM. I think that is a big factor. I am gonna put over 500MB after Christmas, so we'll see then!!Regardless, I LOVE these!!! We need them and it is great!! Kelley Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-25-01, 10:48 AM (EST) 5. "RE: BN America and BNSF containers available soon" I've changed the format of the container textures once more in order to make it possible to have different text/patterns/what-have-you on the left and the right side of them.So the new format for the container textures, which will be introduced soon, will be like the one below. The top part is the righthand side of the container. Next follows the rear end (with the doors), the front end and, for containers 45 ft or longer, the ends of the sides, ie the part of the container that is longer than 40 ft. Below that follows the lefthand side, and at the bottom is the top and bottom of the container, with the front of the container to the left. The front and rear ends of the top are repeated for the part of the container that is longer than 40 ft.
And as usual the copyright for my container textures is mine. You can use my container textures as a basis for repaints of containers for use with my container cars as long as you give me credit for my work, but you CAN NOT use my container textures with 3D models of your own. So if you make another kind of container car you CAN NOT use my container textures with that car without my written consent. Which you most likely will not get.
