Dec-22-01, 05:32 AM (EST) "Texuring a New Building?" OK, So I got TSM and have gone nuts creating a modern Multi Tube Big Grain Elevator.
My Question, How the heck do I make the orginal texture templates for the shapes in this?Message Areas - "Texuring a New Building?" – image 1
Message Areas - "Texuring a New Building?" – image 2 After futzin for a few nights with putting texrues on the tubes, I have made them look pretty good wrapping then. But when I have tried to do the various other "Square" shapes, I have ended up with doors of different size when put on different shapes, meaning one looks the right porpotion to everthing else, yet another of the saem door on a different shape looks 10X out of size or squished to where it looks like a air vent.
I found the "Make Texture Template" command and after having used it to produce the black lined pattern and then wrapping it around the shape in every dircetion (X,Y or Z) it never looked like any of the lines matched to any surface (That really perplexed me). Im at a loss here and just not getting it... anybody got any ideas??? or point me to the most complete tutorial.
Thanks
