Good day to all,I finished up a small oval route. All of the switches are manual, and when testing with just a single Dash-9, the sim crashed every time I go to change a switch. There are several switches in this route, and there are four switches that when I change them, the program crashes, and hard, requires system reboot. Anybody else having these problems? And does anyone know what might be going on?Thanks, Lonnie KRNO

RE: Program crashes...every single time!!
Do you experience any crashes while in the game itself?

RE: Program crashes...every single time!!
Ooops, I forgot to mention that part. Yeah, that's when I suffer these crashes. And it only happens when I set a switch to change tracks. Doesn't matter if I press the 'G'key or if I click on the switch in the 'Switch Driving Aid'. It doesn't happen at most of the other switches. I'm going to try a couple of things today. I'll set up a path so it sets the switch for me, and if that doesn't work, I'll try replacing the manual switch with a computer controlled one and then try again. Since it doesn't happen with all of the switches, I'm lost as to what it could be. I guess if I can't figure it out I'll make a posting in the 'Bug' section. Thanks, Lonnie KRNO
Thanks for the link. I can see that I was missing a couple things. But there is one thing, I had this nasty crash thing happening when I was working on yard track. I had only gotten the yard done with some main line at each end. When testing the track in the game, it crashed whenever I tried set the third switch going into the yard. I scrapped it thinking it could have been something I had done. I'm going to try a couple of things and see what happens. But it will have to wait until I get back from work. Thanks, Lonnie KRNO

This is not true about looped tracks not working. I had no trouble running my reversing loop once I used only one loco and drove it to the far switch first. That method does not present a switch ambiguity. That reversing loop is described somewhere here. I attached it to both the Whitefish yard and the Shelby yard using ends of existing track.
