Hi all If anybodys interested I've knocked up a temporary web site with views of my completed route. I am just about finished testing it and am deciding on the best way to distribute it. I have managed to compress it to about 170 megs using Route Riter so it going to be CD only. I might ask the guys at UKTrainsim to handle it. Might also up it to a couple of peer2peer networks. Post more info in a couple off days. The site is at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/g.mack/ and is best viewed at 1024x768 or above. Click on thumbnails for the big picture.Most of the screenshots are fairly old so things have changed. Most of the buildings are only temporary but are not too bad.

Greetings, Very nice work! Looks very impressive. I recently got UK Record Holders of Steam and am looking for some good UK routes to run them on! Please keep us informed as to how we may get this beautiful route! One quick question, is this an actual route or fictional? Thanks again and good day!Michael

It's based on a real route in north Wales but is not quite accurate not that you would notice driving it. Should be released in a couple of weeks (after testing in the UK) and else where a little later.

Have you thought about splitting it up into smaller zip files like some of the other large route developers have done with theirs? Considering some of them are 150MB to over 200MB that is the only choice to still be able to download it. I see some excellent detail in your route and think it would be a great addition to anybody's collection. Keep up the great work.Richard Bellevue

Needs to be available to download,from either here or uktrainsim.The UK community obsession with distributing everything on cd,really bugs me. I have been able to download dozens of excellent routes from train-sim.com even though i only have a 56k dial up.I wouldnt bother sending off for cd`s,to much hassle.regards, O.G.
