Jan-28-02, 10:57 PM (EDT) "Throwing my hat in the route ring" When I first started using the Route Editor I put a handful of marbles in my mouth. Each time I used RE, I'd spit a marble out.
When I'd finally lost all my marbles, I started working on a real route. Below is the VERY initial stages of a portion of the real BNSF Creston sub, and the Omaha sub. So far just the trackage you see and a few trees to help guide me along.
I'm sure it will be a while before I'm far enough along to say the the route is of any use to anyone. The real Creston sub runs from Creston, Ia to Lincoln NE. There are a few other subs that branch off it, a couple at P-Junc, IA. Depending on how well I progress with limited time to 'play', I may or may not add in the extra subs. And not sure if I want to extend all the way east to Creston, another 60 miles or so of pretty flat farmland, but do plan on going on west to Lincoln, another 30 miles or so. So get the white jackets that have the sleeves in the back ready, I may need it before I'm done. And thanks to all the gang in the forums for all the advice, knowledge, and help, I'm sure I'll be hollering help again before long!

Since you know the basic path of you're route, let the ground be you're guide. Hope this helps. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
