Dec-29-01, 12:03 PM (EST) "When will it snow in Hoboken?" On the 25th Enocell posted that he had uploaded a service pack to the files area of train-sim and Railserve. I have been checking daily for the file without sucess. Has anyone else obtained it. Would anyone else consider hosting it? This is critical to the residence of the area. Continual bright sunny days is resulting in drought conditions and they need relief. (I also want to see the skyline light up at night) So when will this essential file make it's appearance? Dec-29-01, 08:01 PM (EST) 1. "RE: When will it snow in Hoboken?" LAST EDITED ON Dec-29-01 AT 08:02 PM (EST)from New Jersey ehh? where abouts may I ask. I lived in Garfiled for 14 years. ( well my whole life till 3 years ago actually) I wanna reattempt that blizzard we had in 94? or 95 was it? seeing as I have the memory of a 90 year old I don't remember to well.lol not good when your 17 and wanna remember your life as you grow up. anywho I want it to snow too. getting bored of just summer days and nights. I wanna see what a P10 Pacific or GP9 looks like going down the streets in the snow. make for a great plow activity don't ya think? it would sound like this in your briefing " You have been ordered to not only clear the lines but the streets as well. You have "double" duty as the DPW are snowed in and can't get the plows on the trucks. you gotta clear it and fast as hell too. you have 45 miutes to do the whole route." Hmm. I might just make that one. If I did anyone interested? e-mail me if ya are. I'm gonna see if I can't get the textures for it tonight. I'll post in here tom. if I get em. Dec-30-01, 11:24 PM (EST) 2. "RE: When will it snow in Hoboken?" No Craig, Not from New Jersey, Actually live in Illinois, Not far from David's route (IC). What I am trying to say and not well, is
I am very impressed with the Hoboken route and very much want to run at night and in the snow. (all conditions) I followed the thread re. the /s switches very poorly and don't think I can access the .bat file to edit it. The post also indicated that there was to be a release of a file pack to provide some of the missing files. I have been waiting for that like a kid waits for Christmas. I check the site two or three times a day and still no joy.Well at any rate thanks for the note, nice to know someone read it. Have a Happy New Year, JD Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
