I started doing a small route and the editor crashed when I tried to save my work. When I reloaded all the objects had dissapeared. So lesson learned, remember to backup. Hope MS patches this editor soon so that it becomes more reliable.

RE: Hint: Remember to make backups
How did it crash?I just got an error message that it couldn't load the track or road database. I'm trying the rebuild facility but it takes ages! I can't face the prospect of laying nearly 20 miles of track again.

RE: Hint: Remember to make backups
It just froze when I tried to save the objects I placed and then showed that message about notifying Microsoft.I could not restore the track and had to begin all over again. I have had this problem several times now but now I have backups. It is very annoying having to do backups so frequently.
