Is there any problem with laying road first, as far as where the rail crosses the road ? I would like to lay down the roadways first to get a better feel for the geographic area. Any suggestions? Thanks.

RE: What to lay first -- Rail or Road , or does it matter?

Laying road first is better or you could lay track first. The thing I learned about where the track crosses the road, If you lay the road after the track is down you will have the track base show up across the roadway. If you have the road down and cross it with the track you will notice the rails only show up across the roadway which makes it better looking. If you choose to lay track first then all you have to do is select the track that crosses the roadway and delete it, next just add the same piece again and you will have the rail only. Hopefully everyone has figured out the signal gates at the crossings if not let me know so I can help mine work great with sounds and all.
