Passengers Cars

Hey I am having some problems of getting Passengers cars working, Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? I tried pulling them up on Editior and Tools but they never show up. I downloaded about a dozen of cars with no improvement. I haven't downloaded any freight cars, just Passengers. Your Friend

Have you looked in all the categories? i know some of my passenger cars often end up in with the freight cars.

Which particular cars are you having trouble with. It may be a known problem. If you can tell me which passsenger cars are not installing properly I'll try and figure out why for you.Best Regards,

Ermmm I'll take a look at both of those for you and drop another post in here or drop you a mail when I figure out what's going wrong.Best Regards,

I think you'll find if you look inside the folder CTSPass in your trainset directory that there's another folder called CTSPass ...... The contents of this folder needs to be moved to the top level CTSPass folder in the Trainset folder. This is because MSTS only looks at the files in the top level folders Under Trainset. Once you do that it should appear in the consist editor.I think you'll find it's the same problem with the other coach as well.Best Regards,

Fozzy, I didn't find that folder, I dunno, maybe if I download that patch from the website, it'll work. *sigh* the freight cars work but not the passengers, *tsk tsk tsk*, Can anyone recommand a Passenger Car for me to use? And no offense to anyone to the previous statement.

>offense to anyone to the previous statement. Do you mean you don't have a CTSPass folder at all in trainset??? If you don't have a folder called CTSPass then that's why MSTS can't see it.1) Unzip the contents of the download to a temporary folder..
2) Open the temporary Folder and inside you will find a folder called CTSPass
3)Copy that folder to your trainset folder.That's all there is to it! after that it should work and you should be able to see it. I just did exactly that to confirm that it worked. Try it again, MSTS should see it in the tools consist editor. It won't appear in the dropdown list in MSTS until you build a consist that includes it.Best Regards,
