Is there are document out there that explains the variables in the eng and cvf files, i.e., what the labels mean and what the values represent and in what units of measurement? Some are obvious or semi-obvious, but some are not.

RE: Eng and Cvf File Instructions?

Thanks. They were actually on my hard disk. Just a question of knowing where to look. But I have 2 questions:1) I have spent the better part of 3 hours trying to get the file to print, but the grid sections are offset and garbled. 2) There seems to be a version 2 also but Wordpad errors out when I try to display it. Is there a bug or fix, and is V2 an important update of the whole file?fwb

The upgrade has a better version. Open it in Word, not wordpad and it will ungarble.Kevin Arceneaux

RE: Eng and Cvf File Instructions?

It is not a printing problem. I can't even get it to display on the screen correctly. The upgrade version bombs out of WordPad, directly or via MS Works. (I do not have MS Word). I uploaded the file again from the CD to the hard drive just to be sure something wasn't corrupted. The original version is ok for the plain text, but the grid portion truncates on the left side. In MSWorks, it omits much (but not all) of the grid stuff. If you print it (11 pages vice 22 in the original) the one grid that prints is blank.
