Halp! Mine Triplex ist gestoppen!!!(chessy German accent)The Triplex refuses to enter Train Simulator, protesting with some error 20000 or words to that effect...Not to worry though, I think I know why...In the meantime testing is postponed.BUT!There's been some progress for another project...You should have seen the first few tries...Tender inside of locomotive, both running backwards. Front of tender inside cab, both running backwards...There are lots of little SNAFU's. Parts don't mate up exactly, holes in the cab, some distortion of the pilot shroud. Still, for a home spun locomotive, she's in pretty good shape. There's also the slight issue of using 72" drivers with the Goldorf eng specs...I clocked her at 172mph into Altoona, throttle wide open. Notch her down to 20% and she'll still do 140. Possibly not very prototypical. I know these Atlantics were fast, but...It does a body good to be able to see the work of your hands take shape. Now that I know NOT to use the TSM cross section tool, things go much faster.
OH MAN! SWEET!Oh, say. Did you get my email? I know where the models are if you need them.

Sweet Frank!! Keep up the excellent work.New LOGO in progress! http://coloradocar.webhop.org/ Bring Narrow Guage to Life! Adam Parsons stparsons@lexcominc.net
Hey, Frank;Your 4-4-2 does look really nice.I haven't forgotten the 2-10-10-2 plans. Other PC issues came up.I had the UID 2000000 error with a 4-6-0, too many parts to one parent, I made all the boiler details children of the boiler, which is a child of MAIN. That seemed to do it.Great work, there, Frank; Steven D. Myers

RE: Progress Report
That makes sense, especially with all those wheels...I didn't use any hierarchy at all, not even for the leading or trailing wheels...I'll try that...I also noticed a post today by the Brit who's doing the other Big Boy...Something about Engine+Engine...I used the Gorre & Daphetid Mallet file just to get going...There was nothing like that in the eng file...Working on that now.The Hiawatha has no smoke or steam yet, but she sure is fast.Frank Musick Lehigh & Atlantic Railway, Canal Navigation Company
