I downloaded thew Unterland route, and followed the easy steps for install, and I get the above message when attemping to start route. I ran the DOS file, and ran the exe application before that. I look in the terrtex folder, and there is no terrain file. Shuold there be? and if so, where did it go? I have other routes that I have downloaded, Seattle, Seaview, and East Metro, and they all work fine. Any ideas? Please help.Chris

RE: failed to open terrtex\terrain file

It may be you just downloaded the last update part. You need to install version 2.1 first, then 2.2, then 2.3. I will be installing that route today myself, so will see how I get onDavid

RE: failed to open terrtex\terrain file

I actually figured it out. It came to me while I was sleeping. It had to do with the install instructions of the Whiteifish BNSF route, the file got renamed somehow, so I just went and made some changes, and presto, route runs. Looks fantastic what little I saw. Can't wait to download the updates.Chris
