Oct-14-01, 12:10 PM (EDT) "Project Stucked" Hi people,Was bussy with this loco, but I screwed it with the textures. Back to the drawing table, I never had to think about naming
the textures in 3ds MAX but MSTS is forcing me!!!Dennis

Oct-14-01, 12:36 PM (EDT) 2. "RE: Project Stucked" RS23 at Windsor Nova Scotia in Canada. The Alpha textures got mixed up with the SolidNorm textures
while attaching the different parts. In 3ds MAX, no problem,
in MTST, ofcourse a problem.Just have to get back to a backup I made and start from there
again.Dennis Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Oct-14-01, 03:45 PM (EDT) 3. "RE: Project Stucked" Ok got the textures working now, only.....?Hmmm seems that I'll have to make the rails and buildings
bigger in the route designer huh?Funny, I used the sizes of there own samples, I could have
known that it wouldn't match!!!Message Areas - "Project Stucked" – image 3 Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Oct-14-01, 04:37 PM (EDT) 4. "RE: Project Stucked" What scale did you use to create the shape in 3dsmax? MSTS is picky... the scale needs to be meters. If you used english scale (feet/inches), use this simple conversion factor:Convert to inches (6 ft = 72 inches)
Multiple inches by 0.0254 (72 inches = 1.8288 meters)If you're careful about it, you should be able to rescale your shape in 3dsmax. Make a back-up first, though, and don't forget to check your pivot points, linkings, and reset xform when your finished.Hope this helps.Cameron Lashley,

compare it with adding the light to it LOL... Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
