Sep-27-01, 04:07 AM (EDT) "Activity surprise.Important to know." Hello All.If I make a new activity, there will be to create a point of return.
If I do that, the trackdirection will change by the dispatcher, but not so the cabview or the right front loco now, if there are two of it.
I would make a very simple activity-route.
Start on extra track 1 Washington ->Platform 6 Washington. Returnpoint. ->Baltimore.
A lot of traps!!!
I created my train: 3 coaches and then the loco F7 turned.
Why that? Washington is a headstation. If I start outside on extra-track1 the train must go on backward to the platform Washington 6.Therefore I must start with a turned train, coach in front.
If I start, error "no cabview".
MSTS takes the first car in front and if there is no loco, MSTS isn`t able to notice, that the loco is at the other end, because the loco is turned, or better, in my case, the F7 has no cabview for backwards , because there are engines and not Windows(
New train created : Loco F7, coach, loco F7 turned, or
locoF7, loco F7 turned,coach.
That will do.
Must have one loco lokking to the right direction.
I take two locos, because in Washington 6 the direction is changing.
There, MSTS isn`t able to change the cabview !! for the new direction and no change to the loco in front now.
So I want 2 new hotkey. One for changing to another loco, which is near in the Scenery and one key to change the cabview in another direction. And now the surprise:
A t t e n t i o n
I made a new train.
Coach, coach, GP 38 turned.
All is working right. !! Cabview is right.!! The train is running backward right. What I mean, If anybody make activities with returnpoints, look for the right working loco.Nandi Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
