Having already solved this problem before but have forgotten how to do it(I will write it down this time).
Recently downloaded several class 37's from uk train sim,
added new cab views and downloaded authentic 37 sound patch.
The sound patches will install but you have to edit the eng file
when I try to open the eng file
(I assume it is meant to be with Acrobat readeras it gives me no other options),
the computer comes up with:
.........There was an error with opening this document.
File does not begin with '%PDF-'..................
Anyone got any ideas what might be wrong?
I would be most grateful.

RE: ENG Files

I always recommend Wordpad, it works in all systems and helps keep the confusion down on what to use.Kevin Arceneaux
