Can any one tell me why I get the following error message when I run conbuilder? 'Engine file copy of SPS-700.eng contains an invalid name in the line "Wagon". Please edit this file and make this line to have the same name as the file.' I have checked the .eng file and it appears to be correct. I am running Conbuilder 1.5.8. The new Northern runs fine with no problems, it just seems to be that conbulder doesn't like it.

RE: Conbuilder and the SP&S 700

It sounds like there is a .eng file named copy of SPS-700 where one or both the internal "wagon" lines have a name other than copy of SPS-700. If both the internal names don't agree this will cause an error in the Activity Editor when building consists.RegardsEric

Did you try the new Conbuilder 1.60? It's in the file library available for download.

RE: Conbuilder and the SP&S 700

Ok, I downloaded and installed Conbuilder 1.60, and get the same error. I printed out both the .eng file and the copy of .eng file and they seem to be identical. What can I try now?

RE: Conbuilder and the SP&S 700

Inside the copy of file are two lines that start with wagon the name used on that line should agree with the copy of files name without the .eng at the end. You will get a conbuilder error if it isn't copy of SPS-700.RegardsEric

Thank you, I changed the two lines and now no longer get the conbuilder error. Again, Thank you.
