How many here are aware of the existence of a Justin Cornell Dash 9 in NS paint? This is the NS Dash 9 I use on my system. This model, like NALW's version, features accurate NS headlight arrangment(No offense to NALW for not choosing their model, but I prefer using Justin Cornell's Dash 9 model.)You can get your own copy of this model at http://www.kamodder.com/~moon_xl/MSTS/
P.S. I was just thinking, did anyone consider modeling Norfolk Southern's spartan cab version of the Dash 9?

I have also had this model for a while, but I just thought I'd post this because ALL the screenshots I have seen of NS Dash 9's in MSTS use NALW's model, so I thought that maybe some people were unaware of this model, despite its age.Jonathan Nikiforovs.

RE: Justin Cornell's NS Dash 9-40CW

Thats a nice model indeed.
But NS never had spartan cab D9's.
They have Spartan cab SD70's.

NS does have spartan cab Dash 9s. They picked up 120 of these before switching to the comfort cab version. Only NS has the spartan cab model. Here are links to two photos at railpictures.net.

Despite their cabs, the HiAd trucks, fuel tanks, and radiators clearly identify the locos as Dash 9's.Jonathan Nikiforovs.

Why would you post this without letting everyone know where to find the file of this guy's original work? A search on train-sim.com only shows re-paints of the original. What I'm saying is, why waste people's time by posting something that appears to be useless information. If you're going to post... make it informative. That's what this site is all about... that's my belief anyway.

I've been chippin away at his model for some time. It has progressed alone with my skills. As you can see I'm still working on texturing. This isn't the most complete picture that I have, but it's all that I have now.
