I'm fairly new to MSTS.
Recently downloaded BN SD40 add ins
It's the first time I did this.
I see them in my directory, but how do I get the simulator to recognize that they are there? Thanks for any help.

Anytime you download something, you have to make a consist for them, in order to run them on a route. In some cases, there are some pre-made trainsets already made, but if you want full control over what you run, you will have to go into the Activity Editor, located in the Editor and Tools section. Click on help when you get into the Activity Editor, and follow the tips for using the Consist editor. This is where you put your train together, and name it, and then once this is done, you can go play. Whichever locomotive you make the lead, that is where you will find it in the drop down box when you start the game up. follow the instructions carefully, and completly, and you will have no problems.Good Luck.Chris Bogley
