Does anyone know what controls the information in the little white box at the bottom of the screen?I have two engines that don't show the throttle position but show everything else. These engines are: NALW_C40-8_UP & NALW_C40-8W_UPI have a CNW C40-8 that displays everything OK. All three engines use the common.cab\Dash8 folder. I have copied .eng and .cvf from the CNW unit into the UP units and made name changes for wagon, .s and unit name so they work OK except no throttle position display.
Using the F5 key will show throttle position etc. OK.I can operate this way but would like to see the changes of throttle displayed. BTW in cabview (1) the throttle moves and the appropiate numbers show on the dash indicator.Lots of hours spent on this with no answers. I hope someone can shed a little light on this problem. Thanks in advance for your helpMagoo

RE: Throttle position indicator at bottom of screen

I never really looked at that, not even sure what engine I have that aliases that particular cabview (I got the whole NALW set of engines, haven't run all of them).
The gp7-Throttle.ace is the only thing I can find in the \Common.cab\Dash8 folder, and it's actually the same image as the dynamic brake for same.

"CabViewControls ( 26"It's been a while, but I believe if you raise that number by one in the cabview.cvf file , this will restore the popup(therefore , if you lower them , it may remove them , but I do not know what other affects that may have) lol , good luck TimEdit: that line is from the default dash9 , other locos will have other values.

RE: Throttle position indicator at bottom of screen

I see from the SERIES7000, the HUD(F5) doesn't display the train brake.
